Long Covid isolates sick people and their loved ones
This is about a person’s experience with long Covid and their girlfriend’s attempt to organize a theater event to watch the Barbie movie with Covid-cautious people. Unfortunately, the plan did not work out as expected. The person’s girlfriend wanted to join the celebration of feminism and engage in discussions about the movie’s take on gender and other issues. The author also shares their experience of being ill with Covid for more than two years and how it has affected their life. They express feelings of isolation, being left behind by others, and society’s decision to prioritize reopening despite the ongoing risks of Covid-19.
